Maintenance Greens

Keep frozen if you are not starting your cleanse right away!

Your juices have been sent to you frozen to maintain freshness. Remember, your juices are unpasteurized. The enzymes and good bacteria are still alive. We freeze the juices right after they are pressed to keep the nutrients from deteriorating. Please thaw them out when you are ready to start juicing. You can keep them frozen for up to 6 months. Afterwards, when they thaw, the juices will only last about 3-4 days. You should defrost 6 bottles (one day’s worth) at room temperature on the day before you want to start your cleanse. Generally, it takes about 4-6 hours to defrost. When the juices are mostly thawed, but still very cold, place them into the fridge to start your cleanse in the morning.

Doing a maintenance cleanse is just an easy way of continuing to enjoy the benefits of the juice cleanse, while eating normally. You will get 9 bottles of sweet greens and 9 bottles of detox. The two different type of juices are interchangeable, so it won’t really matter which one you use at any given time.

There are two different types of maintenance cleanses that we recommended:

2 a DAY Cleanse - Morning and Breakfast, you’ll have 2 green juices a day and a salad for 9 days. Dinner will be a normal healthy (Vegan preferred) Meal.

3 a DAY Cleanse - Morning and Breakfast, you’ll have 3 green juices a day 6 days. Dinner will be a normal healthy (Vegan preferred) Meal.

The maintenance program does not have to be consecutive days, so you can skip a day or 2 whenever you like.

Here are some interesting recipes:


Equipment: Saucepan, measuring cups, measuring spoons, knife.


2 cups Organic Quinoa Grain cooked & cooled, 1 cup Parsley chopped, 1/2 cup Scallions chopped or Green Onions chopped, 2 Tomatoes medium sized, cut into 1/4-inch dice, 2 Tbsp Mint chopped fresh (or 1 tsp dried), 1 Garlic clove minced, 1 Tbsp Basil minced, 1/2 cup Lemon Juice, 1/4 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 1/4 tsp Salt, 1/8 tsp White Pepper.


Toss together all ingredients. Chill for 1 hour or more to allow flavors to blend. Makes 6 servings.


Equipment: Measuring spoons, small, bowl, small plate.


2 cups rolled oats, 1 1/4 cups natural crunchy peanut butter, 1 cup ground flaxseed, 3/4 cup honey, 3/4 cup dried cranberries, 1/2 cup chocolate chips, 1/4 cup sliced almonds.


Stir oats, peanut butter, flaxseed, honey, cranberries, chocolate chips, and almonds together in a bowl; press into a 9x11-inch baking dish, using the back of a spatula to press into a flat layer. Refrigerate mixture at least 1 hour.
